Karen sees your painting just right. I think it's a charmer...sublte. I see a story that sort of says, "You've been out in the orchard toiling, time to rest and refresh...."
I come from a family of painters and as a young woman, I was taught the basics by my aunt who already was an accomplished artist. This fed my desire to continue my passion for Art. I went on to take courses at Mass College of Art and studied with the Cape Ann artists. I was especially influenced by Helen Van Wyk of Rockport. I taught in the Continuing Ed Program at Lowell U, and other places. Received an Art Culture Grant. Exhibited from Maine to Penn. Won awards, give lectures. Paint almost everyday. Member of the Whistler House Museum in Lowell, MA. the Chelmsford Art Society. Former member of the Copley Society, the Northshore Art Assoc., Lexington, Concord and New Hampshire Art Assoc .Thank you for visiting my blogspot. I hope you are enjoying viewing my paintings. Any questions, you may e-mail me at hleenl@aol.com.
Wow! Another rich, earthy painting. The blue is a nice surprise. Love that glaze dripping down. Looks difficult, and you did a beautiful job.
